By Mail
You may send in a letter requesting a copy of your Police Accident Report, giving the case #, date of accident, your contact information and return address. You must enclose a clear copy of your photo ID, along with a Money Order in the amount of $4.00 payable to Newberry Police Department. The fee is due from all parties, insurance companies, etc.

INTERSTATE traffic accidents: Should the collision have taken place on the Interstate, a Highway Patrol Officer will have completed and filed the Police Accident Report with the South Carolina DMV. You may obtain this report by following the instructions below:
- Request the Police Accident Report from SCDMV by downloading their Request for Officer’s Report (SCDMV Form FR-50).
- You will need 1 form for each report you are requesting.
- Fill out the form as completely as possible and sign.
- Send 2 copies along with a check or money order, payable to SCDMV for $6.00, to the address below:
