There is a $5.00 fee for all parties, whether or not they were involved in the accident. This may be paid in cash, money order, no personal checks although printed business checks are accepted. Your report may be obtained in person, emailed to you, or sent to your mailing address.
Uninvolved parties may be asked to provide a Freedom of Information Act FOIA Request Form. This form will be available at the Records Unit, or you may download an FOIA from the SC DPS and include it with your mailed request. Note: uninvolved parties may only be allowed a redacted copy (at the discretion of the Records Officer).
